Revenge - The Darkest side of Reciprocity

' You can't fix yourself, by burning some one else. '

      The darkest amongst all, the fiercest amongst all emotions stands - REVENGE.

      

        Anger, pain, hurt, ego - all add up to produce a much larger sum- Revenge which ultimately ends up being a destruction for each one involved in the process.

        Calm down, take a breathe. 

    Yes, you were cheated. Yes, you were hurt. Oh yes! It pains like anything.

       Stop right there before your brain turns an enemy of your morality.

        

        He hurts, she hurts. You hurt in return. What's the difference between then and you!

      The answer to this comprises of 4 words - NONE. 

       They cheated. You cheated them. What did you gain - pleasure? 

   No. You lost the humanity you once held. 

       She blamed you intentionally. He blamed you. 

You blamed them.

        Who wins? 

None. Both lost the game. 

     Lies - 1, honesty - 0

 Before you avenge, think carefully. The pain they instilled in you have you two paths -

 one :forgive, learn, move on, face life bravely, watch yourself bloom 

 Two: let anger take a toll on your body, hurt them, avenge yourself, bury your body yourself in grave. 

       "When you begin a journey of revenge, start by digging two graves. One for your enemy, one for you." 

        

Revenge-a never ending cycle 

You hurt them. They hurt you. You hurt them as a revenge. They hurt you again in reflex. 

And the process goes on. 

       Correct the concept. Learn to forgive. You'll know what it feels like when a bird flies out of the cage. 

     Yes, you break through the cage of anger, agony when you learn to forgive. 

   

      Forgive them, don't forget the lesson the pain taught to you while it was leaving. 

      Smile once again, but remember the lesson the tears whispered while flowing down. 

     

     Blinded by revenge, she lost herself somewhere. The beast inside her won, tearing her apart. 

        Realisation drew upon her, but was late enough to make things right. 

        

   "Revenge destroys you more than the person you want to destroy."

   "I felt myself burning in flame of anger. In my vengeance, whomever i touched lost the very existence in my life. 

     The monster inside me destroyed my soul. 

I thought I won but I was never the same again. 

      Losing the peace of mind, i felt everything shattered but there was no way to go back. 

     I myself destroyed everything in daylight 

    And when the darkness engulfed me and I realised, I cried in silence."

         

   Revenge is not a passion or obsession. It's simply a disease. A disease which destroys your mind and poisons the soul.

       Don't let the serpent of revenge make you fall down in your own eyes. 

     Anger, resentment won't change anyone but you. 

       It's a paradox. Vengefulness makes you totally depended on the person who hurt you because you believe tormenting then is the only way to relieve your pain. 

     The best revenge is to forgive, move on and let happiness enter your life again. 

      Live your life, don't hold on to grudges. Afterall to err is human. To forgive is divine.

   

      Move on and let Karma do the rest. 

     

    Revenge is poison. It will turn over you without your knowledge. It will turn who into something ugle - into someone who you never knew - into someone whom you'll start hating. 

       Revenge is like poison meant for others which at the end up is swallowed by you. 

 Vengeance blinds all those who seek it. 

     

      Revenge is toxic and lethal. It's no cure to your injuries. Instead it sets fire to your life. 

It will keep you in imprisonment of anger and hold your happiness in hostage. 

     Feel angry, upset, hurt for sometimes but let the mind and soul calm down on its own. You, yourself are the balm to the injury. Let the ill feeling go. 

What others did to you don't define you. Give a smile to yourself, pat your head for being strong, love yourself and move on.
